Product description The Axis 5012-004 Power over Ethernet (PoE) midspan offers an easy, fast and cost-effective solution for supplying power to network video products without the need to install power outlets and electrical cabling. Simply connect the 5012-004 to the network, and the network video products are supplied with power (max. 15.4W per port) over Ethernet cables. The 5012-004 allows IP Cameras to be installed in areas where traditional power cabling and outlets are unavailable or difficult to install, and are IEEE 802.3af compliant. - PoE midspans provide power (max. 15.4W per port) over Ethernet cables to network video products with built-in Power over Ethernet support
