Product description The discreet, miniature 5503-821 Camera Unit for P1214-E Camera System with Pre-Mounted Cable from Axis Communications, with its small form factor enables easy integration into very limited spaces. The camera unit comprises a lens and an image sensor, and offers great flexibility to blend into a wide range of environments at the same time keeping the camera protected from tampering. It is ideal for indoor, discreet, and covert surveillance of stores, architectural buildings, hotels, offices, and banks.
The camera comes pre-mounted with a 26’ (8 m) long cable, allowing for flexible installation. It provides clear HDTV 720p image quality at full frame rate. Moreover, the camera can be powered either over Ethernet or by external power supply.
The camera can be mounted covertly behind a thin metal sheet in a doorway or an ATM.
As it comes with an IP66- and NEMA 4X-rated housing, it can withstand dust, rain, snow, ice, and corrosion. It can operate in temperatures from -4 to 122°F (-20 to 50°C). The camera is suitable for discreet wall or ceiling mounting, allowing an overview without being intrusive.
