Product description The Axis Communications M3026-VE Outdoor Vandal-Resistant Network Dome Camera comes equipped with a 1/3.6" progressive scan RGB CMOS image sensor and a 2.0mm 106°-angle lens that is suitable for capturing full HD 1080p images of wide areas in environments such as hotels, gas stations, boutiques, restaurants, offices, and schools.
Designed for day and night surveillance, it records color images in a minimum illumination of 0.3 lux, and switches to the B&W mode when illumination goes below this level. In low-light conditions, the IR cut filter automatically retracts, allowing the camera to use invisible near-IR light from available sources to capture clear images in the dark.
Captured videos are transmitted over the network via H.264 and MJPEG streams, which can be individually optimized depending on quality needs and bandwidth constraints.
Intelligent video capabilities include video motion and audio detection and an active tampering alarm. The camera supports an open API (Application Programming Interface) for software integration, including the ONVIF specification for interoperability between network video products.
Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) enables this camera to receive power, audio/video, and PTZ commands via a PoE midspan (not included), making it easier to install the camera almost anywhere and not only near a power supply. This also eliminates the need for power cables and minimizes installation costs. The IP66-, NEMA 4X-, and IK10-rated housing of this outdoor network camera protects it from dust and rain without the need for an additional enclosure. - 1/3.6" (effective) progressive scan RGB CMOS image sensor allows for high image detail
