Product description The P1290-E Thermal Network Dome Camera from Axis Communications uses an uncooled microbolometer image sensor to capture 208 x 156 resolution thermal video at up to 8.3 fps. The 4mm fixed lens features 35.4° horizontal and 28° vertical fields of view. Thermal imagery is meant to provide reliable detection with a low rate of false alarms. The camera, protected in a fixed dome enclosure, can be used as a sensor for surveillance in retail and residential environments, without compromising peoples' identities. With built-in analytics and support for the AXIS Camera Application Platform, the P1290-E enables the usage of a broad range of third-party applications.
