Product description Integrate up to four analog cameras into a modern digital IP-based surveillance system with the P7214 Video Encoder from Axis Communications. Packed with both H.264 and MJPEG compression formats to minimize bandwidth and storage use as well as the ability to handle four channels simultaneously in both formats, the P7214 is a simple way to upgrade your setup. It also supports D1 resolutions at up to 30 fps and has both single stream and quad view support in full resolution. Furthermore, it has RS-485/422 ports for full control over PTZ cameras.
Adding the P7214 encoder to your setup also benefits through the implementation of numerous intelligent functions, including video motion detection, a tampering alarm, and audio detection. Audio is not forgotten with two-way communication supported via input and output ports. Additionally, it has a microSD/SDHC card slot for internal storage as well as 802.3af/at PoE support for an 8-20 VDC power input.
