Product description The Axis Communications Q7414 4-Channel Video Encoder Blade allows you to take full advantage of the latest in digital CCTV technology while keeping your existing analog equipment. The Q7414 encoder is a 4-port video encoder blade for use with the Axis Q7900 Rack. With its 14 blade capacity, the Axis 07900 Rack supports a total of 56 analog cameras, making it an essential tool for CCTV facilities that need to interface a large number of analog cameras within a network. Its 4 audio-channels offer superb quality output in AAC format, making this Q7414 blade ideal for large installations requiring 2-way audio. Highly Efficient H.264 Video Codec - H.264 (MPEG-4 Part 10) compression is capable of generating superb quality images while minimizing file sizes
- You can still choose to use the MJPEG codec as per your requirements
Multiple Configurable Video Streams - Each camera channel can output multiple streams of video at 30 fps in resolutions up to 720 x 480 (NTSC) and 720 x 576 (PAL) over the network
- Different quality levels and frame rates can be set for each of the video streams as per the devices or network requirements
PTZ & Alarm Connections - Besides viewing cameras over the network, the Axis Rack also adds the PTZ function to your analog cameras
- Each camera is provided with motion detection, active tampering alarm, and audio detection functions
- The encoder's external inputs and outputs can be connected to devices such as sensors and relays, enabling the system to react to alarms and activate lights or open/close doors
PTZ Camera Support - Software drivers for more than 25 different analog cameras means that the blade will support the PTZ functions of most cameras including those manufactured by American Dynamics, Bosch, Canon, Panasonic, Pelco, Philips, Samsung, Sensormatic, and Sony
