Product description Stream and record up to 16 video channels with the S1016 Mk II Camera Station NVR from Axis Communications, at resolutions of up to 4K. Preinstalled with 8TB of HDD storage, the recorder can be expanded by two HDDs and two replacement drives up to 6TB each for a maximum internal capacity of 24TB. External storage options include PCs via the Internet connection, network servers, and USB storage devices. H.264, MJPEG, and MPEG-4 compression are used for recording and playback while optimizing network bandwidth.
The NVR comes preloaded with the Axis Camera Station software, which offers flexible live-view layout, site maps, event configuration, alarm management, and responsive PTZ control. Included are 16 software licenses, and additional licenses can be acquired separately to record a maximum of 32 video channels at a combined transfer speed of up to 256 Mbps. The enabled channels can be viewed live or played back at resolutions up to 4K on one or two monitors via the NVR's display port and dual-link DVI-I port. Simultaneous playback of up to four channels at 1080p is supported, as well as live split-view of up to 25 channels at varying resolutions. The workstation is equipped with two 3.5mm connectors for bi-directional audio and an Ethernet port for remote monitoring. A keyboard and a mouse are included for navigation and PTZ control.
