Product description Stream and record up to 8 video channels with the S2008 Camera Station NVR from Axis Communications, at resolutions up to 4K. Featuring an integrated PoE switch, this NVR enables you to power up to 8 IP network cameras directly via the network connection, without the need for an external power source or extra power cables. The recorder is preinstalled with 4TB of HDD storage, and supports external storage options, such as PCs via Internet connection, network servers, and USB storage devices. H.264 and MJPEG compression ensure high-quality recording and playback while optimizing network bandwidth.
The NVR comes preloaded with the Axis Camera Station software, which offers flexible live-view layout, site maps, event configuration, alarm management, and responsive PTZ control. Included are 8 software licenses for recording up to 8 video channels at a combined transfer speed of up to 128 Mbps. Video can be viewed live or played back at resolutions up to 4K via the NVR's VGA and HDMI ports. Simultaneous playback of up to four channels at 1080p is supported.
The workstation is equipped with two 3.5mm connectors for bi-directional audio, as well as with two Ethernet ports. A power supply and mounting brackets are included. Axis Communications offers professional technical support worldwide, in addition to the standard limited three-year hardware warranty.
