Product description Stream and record up to 24 video channels with the S2024 Camera Station NVR from Axis Communications, at resolutions up to 4K. Featuring an integrated PoE switch, this NVR enables you to power up to 24 IP network cameras directly via network connection, without the need for an external power source or extra power cables. The recorder is preinstalled with 12TB of HDD storage, and can be expanded by an HDD and three replacement drives up to 6TB each for a maximum internal capacity of 24TB. External storage options include mass storage devices via the NVR's eSATA port, PCs via Internet connection, network servers, and USB storage devices. H.264 and MJPEG compression ensure high-quality recording and playback while optimizing network bandwidth.
The NVR comes preloaded with the Axis Camera Station software, which offers flexible live-view layout, site maps, event configuration, alarm management, and responsive PTZ control. Included are 24 software licenses for recording up to 24 video channels at a combined transfer speed of up to 384 Mbps. Video can be viewed live or played back at resolutions up to 4K via the NVR's VGA and HDMI ports. Simultaneous playback of up to four channels at 1080p is supported.
The workstation is equipped with two 3.5mm connectors for bi-directional audio, as well as with two Ethernet ports. A power cable and rack mounting brackets are included. Axis Communications offers professional technical support worldwide, in addition to the standard limited three-year hardware warranty.
