Product description The VB-R12VE 2MP Outdoor PTZ Network Dome Camera from Axis Communications features a 1/3" CMOS sensor and 4.4-132mm varifocal lens. It offers seamless PTZ control with 360° endless panning capability, 180° tilting with automatic image flipping and a 450°-per-second high-speed precision pan/tilt mechanism. In addition to 30x optical zoom for crisp images from long distances, the camera also offers an Enhanced Digital Zoom function that can offer up to an equivalent 120x optical zoom when streaming at lower resolutions. The 2.1 MP camera is equipped with several core technologies including an advanced lens, high-sensitivity CMOS image sensor and powerful DIGIC DV III Image Processor all working in unison. A built-in heater and water-tight housing with moisture release system helps to ensure that this camera delivers clear video with virtually no distortions due to excess moisture. It features an easy-to-mount design and the ability to establish up to 256 preset camera positions and schedule up to five preset tour routes. The camera is ONVIF Profile S and Profile G conformant to help ensure maximum interoperability with third-party recorders, and also includes Camera Management Tool (CCMT) that allows for centralized management of most current Axis cameras (camera discovery, configuration, back-ups and restores, firmware upgrades, etc.). The simple setup and use offered by the camera is furthered by a camera viewer and a mobile viewer that provide access to the camera's features and functionality from a variety of different compatible devices including PCs, mobile phones, and tablets. Usability is further enhanced with the Motion Adaptive Noise Reduction and Area-Specific Data Size Reduction (ADSR) features, both of which are designed to help reduce data usage while helping to improve image quality of areas of interest. - 360° endless panning with pan/tilt mechanism
