Product description The RECODO Dual Head Mount Y Arm enables mounting two accessories from a single mounting point. The Y arm consists of two long arms and a short arm that is generally thought of as the bottom mounting arm. The two long arms can be positioned next to each other or spread more than 90° off-axis from each other, essentially pointing one arm forward and the other back. The long arms and short arm use ball joints for added flexibility, and a central locking knuckle loosens and tightens the joints.
Pointing both long arms away from the short arm gives you 8.6" of extension, and if you point each long arm 180° in opposite directions, it creates 9" of distance. Although general usage is mounting the short arm to your camera, using the included coupler and cold shoe mount, and accessories to each long arm, you can also mount one of the long arms to your camera and then use the short arm and remaining long arm for accessories. - The design of the Y Arm provides you flexibility in mounting more than just one accessory using the single mounting arm
- The included 1/4"-20 female-to-female coupler and included cold shoe mounting foot enable mounting the arm to your camera's cold shoe
- The coupler can be used without the cold shoe mounting foot to provide a female 1/4"-20 thread
