Product description The Ribcage HERO3/3+ Modification Kit from Back-Bone Gear replaces the lens and front of your GoPro HERO3 or HERO3+ camera with an aluminum plate and removable lens mount rings that allow you to use M12, CS-Mount, or C-Mount lenses, as well as other types of lenses with optional C-mount adapters. This lets you take advantage of all the benefits that professional lenses have to offer, including manual focus control and iris control, optical zoom, and macro shooting. Please be advised that this modification kit requires you to completely take apart and re-assemble your camera, which will void the manufacturer's warranty.
Included in the Modification Kit is a removable tripod mount adapter so you can use your camera with professional mounts and supports. Additionally, you use GoPro's optional The Frame mount to use the camera with GoPro-style mounting accessories. Also included in the kit are IR cut filters, which can be removed so you can see in the dark when shooting with any optional IR light source. - Key Features
