Product description This version of the BAE Audio 1073MP Microphone Pre-Amplifier is an all Class-A microphone preamp version of the well known classic 1084 and 1073 equalizer, well known for its rich low end, slight resonant highs, and focused mids. The 1 RU 19" rackmountable unit uses a transformer-coupled input with two selectable impedances of 1200 or 300 ohms, which allows it to work with a wide variety of microphones.
A line-level XLR input is included for adding depth to 2-bus mixes and a DI input is also included for use with passive and active instruments. It features a modular design and hand-wiring that helped build the company's reputation.
