Product description Intended for electric guitar players, the Hot Fuzz from BAE is technically two pedals in one enclosure, utilizing a solid-state design with four bipolar, low-noise transistors to deliver snarling, aggressive tones. On the left side, you’ll find a footswitch which engages a high-frequency boost. On the right sits a triple-stage, 1970s-style fuzz distortion. The two effects can be run in series or independently. Both footswitches are true bypass, ensuring your signal stays pristine when the effects are bypassed. The high-frequency portion of the pedal is single-stage, giving you up to 5 kHz of blistering high end, depending on how you dial in the gain control. The fuzz, on the other hand, sports dedicated pots controlling Bass, Treble, Juice—which allows you to choose how much fuzz you’d like to introduce into the signal path—and Gain. As this is a BAE product, all film, ceramic, mica, and electrolytic capacitors have been selected with careful attention paid to their sonic qualities. The pedal accepts 9V battery power, though it can also work with external battery supplies. When an instrument is plugged into the input jack, the pedal will automatically turn on, so be sure to disconnect from the jack when the pedal’s not in use to conserve your battery. - Key Features at a Glance
