Product description CES 2017: Beoplay Goes 360 with Its New M5 Speakers Read More Enjoy wireless audio streaming with the black Beoplay M5 Wireless Speaker from B&O PLAY by Bang & Olufsen. It delivers up to 130W of total RMS power and up to 460W of peak power from its 5" woofer, 1.5" midrange, and three 0.75" tweeters. This 6.5"-wide cylindrical speaker features True360 omnidirectional sound for uniform sound quality throughout the room. It features Bluetooth and Apple AirPlay wireless streaming, plus Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity for Spotify Connect and Deezer. The aluminum disc on top of the speaker is used to control volume, play/pause playback, and to pair devices. It features a wool-blend fabric cover, which can be replaced to match your décor. - Designed for Easy Setup and Sound Optimization
- The Beoplay M5 can be set up via the Beoplay App, where you can also activate a position optimization setting to enhance the quality of sound depending if the speaker is placed in a corner, by a wall, or in free space.
- Aluminum Disc
- The aluminum disc on the top of the Beoplay M5 is produced from pearl-blasted aluminum that is naturally anodized in selected hues.
- Responsive Controls
- The speaker top is an aluminum disc that incorporates volume (with 15% movement in either direction) and connection controls that respond with a viscous dampened movement. Tapping the aluminum disc will allow the Beoplay M5 to join other music experiences going on in your home.
- Place it Anywhere
- The Beoplay M5 is designed to be replicated around the home. It combines aluminum with a fabric cover, which can be replaced with a cover of a different color to match your décor.
- True360 Sound
- The Beoplay M5 has True360 sound that lets you enjoy equally good sound no matter where you are relative to the speaker. Three evenly distributed tweeters, a front-facing mid-range driver, and a woofer that fires its energy down towards a disperser help provide a uniform dispersion of well-balanced sound all around the room.
- Designed to Fit Your Style
- Switch covers with other colors and make it fit your décor. The cover for the Beoplay M5 is produced by the Danish textile manufacturer Kvadrat and is made from woven wool.
- Music in Every Room
- By connecting additional multi-room-enabled speakers, such as the Beoplay A6 and Beoplay A9, you can experience seamless sound throughout the house. The M5 features Beolink Multiroom and Chromecast built-in, plus you can connect via Bluetooth or Apple AirPlay
