Fully coated optics help to increase light transmission while enhancing image contrast and color rendition. This optical performance, when combined with a large viewing angle, provides an immersive observational experience for novices and advanced amateurs alike.Complementing the versatility of the Blackhawk's optics is a nitrogen-filled housing that delivers fogproof and waterproof performance in all weather conditions. Twist-up eyecups, non-slip rubber armoring, and comfortable 17mm eye relief make the Blackhawk easy and comfortable to use. With the higher 12x magnification, visible hand-shake will be more pronounced, and holding the binocular steady for long periods may cause fatigue. To help minimize shake and vibrations, it comes outfitted with a 1/4"-20 tripod mount so it can be used with a variety of optional support systems.
