Product description The 231 Power Starwatcher Refractor Telescope (Silver) from Barska is an entry-level refractor telescope for the aspiring astronomy hobbyist. It includes everything necessary to set up and start observing the night sky. Besides the optical tube of the telescope itself there are 2 interchangeable eyepieces that can be used with or without the 3x Barlow lens to increase or decrease the magnification as the situation demands. It is always best to start out with the lowest possible power and gradually build up to closer views of the selected target. The 45° diagonal allows less neck strain and therefore longer and more comfortable viewing sessions. An aluminum floor tripod with an attached accessory tray adds stability to the altazimuth mount. Finally, the PC compatible Deepsky Astronomy Software helps plan the space journey and identify the celestial sights. - Glass coated optics provide enhanced image brightness
