Product description Both an optic and a navigational aid, the 7x42 WP Deep Sea Monocular from Barska is designed with the boater in mind. The 7x magnification is powerful enough to observe distant details, but avoids the shaky image of higher-powered optics, an area of even more concern on a moving watercraft. The BAK4 prism and fully multi-coated lenses create a highly efficient light path for a bright, crisp image, and the optic takes in a generous field of view – 431' at 1000 yards. The Deep Sea Monocular also is equipped with a built-in rangefinder and directional compass reticle, which will prove handy time and time again. Its housing is rubber armored for a secure, comfortable grip. (The compass does not operate in the southern hemisphere.) - Optical Performance
