Product description The B&H Binocular Buying Guide Read More The 8x40 Level Binocular from Barska provides 8x magnification and has 40 mm diameter objective lenses, and 8.1° angular field of view. It features fully multicoated optics and BK7 Porro prisms which improve light transmission and image clarity compared to single coated optics and lower grade glass in prisms.
Beyond optical properties, the binocular has a set of convenience features. For example, it can be mounted on a tripod to reduce image jitter introduced by unsteady hands. The center focus wheel allows you to focus both tubes simultaneously, and diopter adjustment allows you to accommodate the dioptric difference between two eyes. Also, the eyecups can be folded down to allow extra space for eyeglasses.
Additionally, it features a shock-absorbing rubber armoring which also provides for a comfortable and secure grip. Also included are a lens cloth, a soft case, and a lanyard. Optical Performance -
