Product description Advance your hobbies or professional pursuits using the Barska AY13116 Student Stereo Microscope. This handy optic gives users a stereoscopic viewing experience with a heightened perception of depth, ideal for studying gems, insects, circuit boards, collectibles, or other objects or artifacts. The scope features a built-in 2x objective and includes two pairs of eyepieces, 10x and 25x, for a maximum 50x magnification. You can place your samples on the round base plate and secure them with two built-in spring-loaded clips. The adjustable work distance and a coarse focusing knob allow you to maintain ideal image sharpness. To ensure that you obtain maximum image brightness, the microscope also provides an incidental top LED illuminator, which can be powered by two user-supplied AA batteries or the included wall power adapter. To get you started right away, the microscope ships with seven blank slides, five prepared slides, a sample of granite, and forceps. - Optics & Illumination
