Product description The Pursuit-300 Metal Detector from Barska knows the difference between trash and treasure, so you won't waste time digging up bottle caps and nails while more important objects wait to be discovered nearby. It features a Pinpoint mode that helps determine the exact location of an object, so you'll do less digging. The 3" LED display shows what a buried object is likely to be; you can search for specific types of objects with the Discriminate function, and ignore certain types with the Notch function. The Pursuit-300 is sensitivity-rated to find a quarter buried 9" deep. The detector has a built-in speaker, but there's also a 3.5mm jack for user-supplied headphones if you want to hear the detector's signal tones more clearly. The 10" search coil is sealed for water-resistance and can be used in shallow water. A low-battery indicator warns you when it's time for a fresh power supply. The detector's stem extends to 47" and is equipped with an arm rest for comfortable use, and the unit's controls, as well as a headphone jack and volume knob, are easy to reach. -
