- be quiet! Dark Base 700: Product presentation
The Dark Base 700 RGB LED Mid-Tower Case from be quiet! is designed for quiet operation and efficient cooling. It can support up to an E-ATX motherboard with room to spare for additional storage drives, graphics cards and other PCIe-based expansion cards, and water-cooling hardware. There are also plenty of fan mounting spots and it comes with two pre-installed SilentWings 3 fans to keep things cool. To simplify hardware installation, be quiet! has designed this case with adjustable drive bays, which let you reposition them to fit a longer graphics card. Aesthetics-wise, it has a windowed side panel and built-in RGB LED lighting that you can customize and sync with other compatible lighting products. Once everything's in place, you'll have quick and easy access to USB ports, audio in/out jacks, as well as fan and lighting controls located at the front panel. - Versatile Motherboard Tray
- The motherboard tray can be installed in an inverted layout for an alternate airflow pattern. It can also be completely removed for a test bench setup.
- Modular HDD Slots
- This case has three modular HDD drive bays that can be reposition as needed. There are also slot covers to hide unused slots to keep the interior looking neat.
- RGB LED Lighting
- Aside from the windowed side panel, this case also features RGB LED lighting on the front panel. Switch from six colors, three lighting modes, and even sync it with your other compatible RGB products.
- SilentWings 3 Fans
- Included with this case are two SilentWings 3 140 mm PWM fans, which feature a six-pole motor, fluid-dynamic bearing, and optimized fan blades. They're designed to generate high air pressure and can reach up to 1600 rpm.
- Dual Rail Fan Controller
- Located on the back is a fan controller that supports up to six PWM fans divided over two rails. Each can be switched between performance and silent mode to create two cooling zones if needed. It's controlled by a slider on the front panel with four speed settings.
- Liquid-Cooling
- For your convenience, the top bracket is detachable, so you can install radiators and fans before mounting them as a complete unit into the case.
- PSU Shroud
- The PSU shroud not only hides your PSU from view, but also can be removed when not needed. Additionally, it supports up to a 120 or 140 mm fan for extra cooling.
