Built to cool overclocked systems and multi-graphics platforms, the Dark Rock 3 Air Cooler from be quiet! features six heat pipes with copper lining and aluminum caps, fluid-dynamic bearings, and a 135mm SilentWings PWM fan with nine airflow-optimized blades and a six-pole motor. In order to help increase cooling efficiency, heat pipe placement has been redesigned, and users may also install an additional 120mm fan for even greater system cooling. To help with this installation, free fan clips are included. This product generates only 21.1 dBA of noise under 100% loads, yet offers a cooling capacity of 190W TDP. It can be used with most current Intel LGA and AMD sockets and also included are a backplate mounting set and thermal grease. General Features - A 135mm SilentWings PWM fan features copper core fluid dynamic bearings and a dynamically-balanced impeller to help provide effective cooling. The fan utilizes nine airflow-optimized fan blades and a 6-pole motor for smoother operations and reduced vibrations. Thanks to a decoupled fan mount with vibration-isolating elements on the heat sink, noise is capped at at 21.1 dBA, even at 100% PWM functionality, even while fan speeds max out at 1400 rpm with an airflow of 67.8 CFM.
- Improved dynamic wave-contour cooling fins with small dots on the surface help to increase air circulation and contribute to high convection efficiency without raising the overall noise.
- An additional 120mm fan may be installed for greater cooling performance.
- Six high-performance heat pipes with copper lining and aluminum caps carry heat to specific locations on the cooling fins, helping to maximize heat conductance.
- A high cooling capacity of 190W TDP offers low temperature even at peak performance. The heat pipes have also been rearranged to enhance cooling capabilities of this unit.
- The Dark Rock 3 is compatible with most Intel and AMD sockets.
- Dark nickel-plated heat sink with a brushed aluminum top cover and a diamond cut finish.
