Product description - be quiet! | Shadow Rock 2/Slim
Built with a square, single-tower design that saves space and permits fan mounting in any of four directions for improved heat convection, the Shadow Rock 2 Air Cooler from be quiet! features four 8mm heat pipes, a turbulence-reducing wave design, a 120mm Pure Wings 2 PWM fan with nine blades and a speed of 1600 rpm, plus a 4-pole fan motor, rifle-bearing technology, and a lifespan of up to 80,000 hours. Living up to its name, this be quiet! product generates only 15.3, 19.8, and 25.4 dBA of noise under 50, 75, and 100% loads, yet offers a cooling capacity of 180W TDP. It can be used with Intel and AMD sockets. General Features - Cooling Efficiency & Performance
- The Shadow Rock 2 offers a high cooling power for all kinds of systems with an impressive rating of 180W TDP.
- High-Performance Heat Pipes
- The four high-performance 8mm heatpipes carry heat to specific locations on the cooling fins. The turbulence-reducing wave design on the fins also reduces noise generated by the airflow.
- Low-Noise Operation
- The Shadow Rock 2 provides extremely low-noise operation. Its silence-optimized 120mm fan with PWM functionality delivers a good balance of cooling performance and quiet operations. Even at 100% fan speed, overall noise only measures 25.4 dBA.
- Four-Directional Fan Mounting
- With a square, single-tower design, it saves space and permits fan mounting in any of four directions for improved heat convection. You can freely choose the fan mounting point, which is especially important for AMDTM users.
