Product description Connect professional XLR-equipped microphones to your RED DSMC2 camera with the Beachtek DXA-RED, a two-channel preamplifier with phantom-powered XLR inputs. Its powerful preamps offer up to 60 dB of gain while delivering low noise and wide dynamic range. Thanks to its integrated shoe mount, the supplied brass mounting foot, and the included quick-release plate, the DXA-RED accommodates an array of mounting configurations. Each channel features switchable 48V phantom power for condenser mics, low/high gain settings, a trim knob, and an easy-to-read LED level indicator—green signifies a level between -40 and -4 dBu, while red correlates to levels over -4 dBu. Select mono or stereo for the output signal, which is sent to the 3.5mm main output at the normal level, and to the 3.5mm aux output with -20 dB of attenuation. Easily connect the output to your camera's input via the supplied 3.5mm TRS cable. The DXA-RED includes a 2-pin LEMO to D-Tap cable for connection to a compatible external battery or power supply, and a micro-USB cable for USB powering. A power switch with a dedicated LED indicator puts you in control of the power status. - Ultra-compact chassis with integrated shoe mount
