Product description Time-Lapse Tips and Tools Read More This BT-100 Tripod from Beastgrip supports up to 20.0 lb, measures 18.0" when folded, and includes a long push-and-pull, rapid center column, a short push-and-pull, rapid center column, as well as a ball head with quick release plate. Its 4-section legs each feature an independent spread as well as twist locks for fast deployment, and can be positioned for a minimum height of 4.5", or 8.5" when its short center column is in use, and 18.0" when its long center column is in use. The BT-100 tripod itself provides a maximum height of 50.0", or 55.0" with its short center column fully raised, and 64.0" with its long center column fully raised. Foam covers on two of the legs provide a secure and comfortable grip while moving the tripod, and rubber feet help to enhance stability on a wide variety of surfaces.
Cameras, lenses, or sport optics that are compatible with a 1/4"-20 mount can be connected to the quick release plate, which is secured to the tripod's ball head using a quick release clamp. The ball head is removable, provides up to a 90° tilt for portrait orientation, 360° of independent rotation, and can be locked into place along its range of movement.
For added versatility, both the short and long center columns are reversible, facilitating low-angle photography where an attached camera is positioned among the tripod's legs instead of above them. An additional twist lock allows one of the tripod legs to be detached and configured as a monopod with a 16.0" to 51.0" adjustable height. Either the short center column or the long center column can also be combined with the monopod-convertible leg for a respective height range of 20.0" to 55.0" and 32.5" to 67.5".
A nylon carry bag with a zippered closure and detachable shoulder strap is included for storage and transport of the entire tripod, as well as a drawstring pouch for the ball head. - Use and Handling
