This lens works by "squeezing" the image horizontally at a factor of 1.33x to record a higher resolution onto the sensor. The image is then "de-squeezed" in post-production, or in real time with a third party app, such as FiLMiC Pro (video - iOS and Android), MAVIS (video - iOS), ProMovie (iOS), and Guerrilla Filmmaker (iOS). The result is a 2.40:1 aspect ratio for videos and 1.78:1 / 16:9 for photos. Included are top and bottom lens caps, a microfiber carrying pouch, and a microfiber cleaning cloth.
