Product description - B-2 PRO Dual Diaphragm Condenser Microphone
The B-2 Pro Large Diaphragm Multi-Pattern Studio Condenser Microphone from Behringer features a pressure-gradient, gold-sputtered, dual-diaphragm capsule that delivers a transparent 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response while handling SPLs up to 135 dB (145 dB with pad), resulting in clean, transparent audio even at transient peak levels. The B-2 offers switchable cardioid, omni-directional, and figure-of-eight polar patterns for versatile use in most recording scenarios. A -10 dB pad switch provides headroom when recording loud signals that can distort on input, and a low-frequency roll-off switch minimizes low-end noise at 150 Hz and below. The microphone includes a shockmount, windscreen, and carrying case. - Switchable Polar Patterns
- The B-2 features omni-directional, cardioid, and figure-8 polar patterns for added flexibility.
- High-Pass Filter Switch
- A high-pass filter switch cuts low frequencies below 150 Hz. This is useful when ambient hum or line noise is prevalent.
- -10 dB Pad Switch
- The B-2 is capable of handling Sound Pressure Levels of up to 135 dB, and a -10 dB pad switch allows for SPLs up to 145 dB before distortion occurs.
