Product description The Belkin 8-outlet Surge Protector with 6 ft Power Cord with Telephone Protection offers eight outlets with protection against power surges in up to 3000 Joules in strength. The outlets supply two-line AC protection, and the heavy-duty power cord has a length of 6'. The low-profile plug fits in tight spaces and behind furniture. The surge protector also allows for phone line protection. A large, recessed power switch resets system and prevents accidental shutdowns. For convenience there are two indicators; one lets you know when connected equipment is protected and one alerts you when the outlet isn't properly grounded.
Sliding safety covers protect children and keep dust and debris out of unused outlets. A power cord manager lifts and locks to keep cords neat and untangled. Oversized Metal Oxide Varistors (MOVs) absorb excess electricity for additional protection. The damage-resistant housing protects circuits from fire, impact or rust and prevents dents and scratches. The surge protector can be mounted on the wall, baseboards or furniture using the mounting holes.
