Product description Introducing the New BenQ HT3550 XPR 4K UHD Projector with HDR Support Read More Enjoy your video games and multimedia content on a big screen with the BenQ HT3550 HDR XPR 4K UHD Home Theater Projector. It uses XPR technology to project UHD 4K resolution onto the screen with compatible content and features HDR10 and HLG compatibility to produce a wide color gamut. It outputs up to 2000 ANSI lumens of brightness and has a 30,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio to help produce details even in dark areas of the image. The projector has two HDMI inputs for connecting your digital HD devices such as a gaming console, Blu-ray player, or cable/satellite box. Its built-in 5W speakers eliminate the need for external speakers if none are convenient. The HT3550 includes an IR remote control for additional convenience. - XPR Technology Projects UHD Resolution
- XPR technology combines image processing with the ability of the DMD's mirrors to shift at the microsecond level to allow each mirror to project two pixels per frame, creating a UHD 4K image from an otherwise non-UHD chip.
- CinematicColor DCI-P3
- CinematicColor technology uses the DCI-P3 color space, a high contrast ratio, and ISFccc-certified calibration to help ensure augmented image performance with detailed visuals. With DCI-P3 conformity, the HT3550 can reproduce your movies with the same color accuracy as the directors originally envisioned.
- Enhanced Color Mapping for Natural Hues
- This technology is designed to perform precision color rendition to produce lifelike colors automatically tuned to reflect nature when viewing DCI-P3 4K Blu-ray movies.
- Factory Calibrated Color Accuracy
- The HT3550 is tested and adjusted for D65 color temperature, gamma, black level, white level, neutral gray, RGBCMY color tracking, hue, saturation, brightness, and output based on ITU-R Rec.709. The data from multiple interfaces is compiled for individual factory calibration reports to meet Rec.709 and Delta E<3 performance.
- ISFccc Certified Visual Calibration
- By incorporating the Imaging Science Foundation's ISFccc Certified Visual Calibration, the image and color performance can be customized for nearly any space, along with pre-set light balance modes for day and night.
- Realistic Video Quality with HDR-PRO
- Optimized for projection, HDR-PRO technology is engineered to enhance the 4K HDR viewing experience. Using enhanced tone mapping, HDR-PRO provides a broad contrast range to bring out more detail from 4K Blu-rays and streaming content.
- Enhanced Tone Mapping Helps Preserve Dark Details
- BenQ Enhanced Tone-Mapping uses Active Iris and Dynamic Black technology to help increase the perceived contrast ratio so you can see dark details more clearly. Dynamic Black analyzes a scene's brightness levels to help optimize the light output and contrast, bringing out details in shadows and preventing bright scenes from washout.
- HDR Brightness Optimization
- HDR brightness optimization helps keep the ideal contrast when projecting different image sizes and against various screen gains most commonly used in home theater to help ensure a greater contrast range and enhanced image quality when HDR Mode is activated.
- HDR10 & HLG Support
- HDR-PRO technology is powered by the support of the HDR10 and HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) HDR formats for enhanced visuals from a variety of sources.
- Optimized Movie Modes
- To achieve a personalized home cinema experience, the HT3550 features optimized movie modes that are tailored to help provide authentic cinematic colors in a variety of environments.
- D.Cinema Mode is designed to provide wide-ranging colors and subtle details in movies that use 100% of the Rec.709 color gamut for enhanced 1080p SDR in dark A/V rooms.
- HDR Mode (with Wide Color Gamut enabled) helps provide high dynamic contrast and true color reproduction based on HDR-PRO technology and 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut for 4K HDR Blu-rays and streaming HLG content in dark A/V room settings.
- Cinema Mode offers heightened brightness to reproduce Rec.709 color accuracy to help you enjoy 1080p movies in rooms with high ambient brightness.
- HDR Mode is designed for watching 4K HDR Blu-rays and streaming HLG content based on Rec.709 and HDR-PRO technology in higher brightness environments.
- 10-Element, 8-Group, All-Glass Lens Array
- The 10-element lens array is structured into eight groups with metal barrel and cell framework to provide enhanced light penetration for long-lasting intensity with augmented color performance, clarity, and sharpness across the entire screen.
- Accurate Color and Image Integrity
- With its single-DMD design to help avoid the alignment issues that arise in multi-panel systems, the HT3550 provides sharp images and accurate colors devoid of artifacts, blur, shadowing, and interference patterns.
- Enhanced Optics Provide Enhanced Image Quality
- The optical system in the HT3550 uses low-dispersion lens coatings to help minimize chromatic aberrations for clear images.
- CinemaMaster Video+
- This feature uses video-enhancing technologies to help please even critical movie enthusiasts.
- 4K Pixel Enhancer
- The 4K Pixel Enhancer is a motion-adaptive, edge-enhancement feature designed to detect changes in color between an object and its background to help produce sharp edges and precise surface textures.
- Motion Enhancer
- The Motion Enhancer inserts 36 interpolated frames between sequences to help produce seamless 60 fps videos, eliminating laggy images, jittery playback, and blurry shadows.
- Color Enhancer
- The Color Enhancer is designed to modulate complex color algorithms to flawlessly render saturated colors, fine gradients, intermediate hues, and subtle pigments.
- Flesh Tone
- The Flesh Tone feature helps prevent discoloration of skin tones from the light of the projection beam, portraying skin tones naturally.
- CinemaMaster Audio+ 2
- With stereo 10-Watt audio housed in a resonant sound chamber for enhanced bass and highs, CinemaMaster Audio+ 2 audio-enhancing technology also provides EQ algorithms for pure clarity and augmented sound quality used by Hollywood studios.

- Music Mode features smoothly balanced performance for immersive live reproduction of music.
- Sports Mode uses enhanced mid-frequency and vocals to enhance the action and play-by-play announcers.
- User Mode allows you to customize the EQ algorithms to maximize the bass and highs the way you want.
- Flexible Adjustment for Screen Alignment
- The HT3550 features 1.3x zoom with vertical lens shift to help provide hassle-free installation. Focusing automatically regardless of screen size variations, the HT3550's zoom system is designed to adjust to follow focus adjustments, optimizing the zoom ratio to deliver enhanced focus for clarity at every corner of the image.
- 10% Vertical Lens Shift
- The vertical lens shift helps the HT3550 fit into nearly any room with a range of projection heights, and the zoom offers a range of throw distances to further enhance the projector's placement flexibility.
- Auto Vertical Keystone Adjustment
- Countering the trapezoid effect when the projector is placed off-center, such as on a tabletop, the vertical keystone adjusts the image to proper proportions, allowing for more placement options.
- USB Type-A 3.1 Gen. 1
- The USB port can transfer data at speeds up to 5 Gbps. You can also project content from your compatible USB drive directly without a cable or computer.
