Product description The LW890UST WXGA 4000-Lumen Interactive Ultra-Short-Throw Laser Projector from BenQ uses BlueCore Laser technology to deliver high color performance. It has a brightness of 4000 ANSI lumens and a dynamic contrast ratio of 100,000:1. This projector has a 6.9mm fixed manual focus lens with a f/2.6 aperture. It supports a throw ratio of 0.24:1.
This projector features two HDMI ports (one with MHL), two VGA ports, RCA composite, and S-video inputs. There are 3.5mm audio input and output jacks along with a 10W built-in speaker. A power cord, a remote control, two AAA batteries, a VGA cable, and a wall mount are included. - BlueCore laser technology with precision-aligned, high-output laser source, secondary yellow-infused color wheel, and hermetically sealed DLP chip
- DustGuard technology includes sealed laser modules to protect the laser bank
- Color wheel sensors have anti-dust accumulation that resists dust buildup
- Dual color wheel system produces high color performance by increasing color ratios and purity of RGBY colors
- Creates clear images with 100,000:1 high contrast ratio for true deep blacks
- 4000 ANSI lumens and brightness efficiency at the same level as IFPs for clear, sharp images and text even in large, bright classrooms
- Instant power on and off to reduce setup time
- 20,000 hours of maintenance-free operation
- Can be mounted on the wall directly above the screen, eliminating distracting shadows and glare for students and teachers
- Range of resolutions and projected image sizes to meet diverse classroom needs
- PointWrite interactive module PW40U and QWrite software (available separately) provides truly collaborative learning environments where students and teachers work together using intuitive templates
- Using QCast or Instashow accessories (available separately), teachers and students can bring their own smart devices and computers to stream documents, images, and Full HD videos to this projector
- Compatible with leading projector control systems including Crestron, AMX, PJ Link, and Extron IP Link for network control via LAN
- Multiple Display Administrator (MDA) software enables powerful centralized monitoring, control, and power scheduling across the school's projector network from a single computer
- Administrators can centrally upgrade firmware on multiple networked BenQ education projectors on the same local network via LAN (up to 253 projectors), deploying the latest updates to all devices at once
- Upgrades firmware types including TI IC, MCU IC, LAN IC, and Ballast IC
- Wall mount features an installation chart and ruler for screen alignment and image position in the classroom
- 0.75x digital shrink is used for fine tuning the screen size via OSD menu when the image is not precisely aligned on the desired frame
- Corner Fit provides individual adjustment of each corner for perfect fit and alignment onto restricted or uneven spaces
- DLP-optimized optical lens systems provide precise readability and crisp resolution for every sub-pixel
