Product description Designed primarily for classroom environments, the BenQ MW864UST 3300-Lumen WXGA Ultra-Short Throw DLP Projector features 3300 lumens of brightness and a 13,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. It has a native WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution, and supports up to WUXGA 1920 x 1200 video signals. The projector is powered by a DLP chip system, and the lamp features a life of up to 6000 hours in smartEco mode. Furthermore, you can use the MW864UST to project up to a 120" screen size, and it features a 0.23:1 throw ratio. With S-Video, RCA composite video, two VGA inputs, and two HDMI inputs, one of which supports MHL, this model is well equipped for external video sources. It also supports loop-through via the VGA output for daisy-chaining multiple projectors together. It features two 10W speakers and is controllable via LAN, RS-232, or the included IR remote. Additionally, the projector includes a VGA cable and a wall-mount kit. - Unobstructed Instruction Without Space Constraints
- Requiring as little as 3.15" projection distance for an 87" screen, the MW864UST can be mounted inches from the wall and directly above the screen, eliminating distracting shadows and glare so students and teachers can engage and collaborate freely in front of the board.
- Bright, High-Resolution Images
- For enhanced performance, the MW864UST produces 3300 ANSI lumens and 1280 x 800 resolution for clear images and text, even in bright classrooms. The high brightness allows lights to be kept on during lessons, and the high resolution augments readability for expanded content.
- Image Uniformity Enhancement
- The TIR (Total Internal Reflection) optical architecture of the MW864UST is designed to eliminate the uneven brightness distribution of conventional projection. The optical engine focuses the center and corners of the image, enhancing corner uniformity by up to 30%, and evens out brightness uniformity for a smooth viewing experience.
- Interact on Nearly Any Surface
- PointWrite technology is designed to work on any flat surface, so no additional equipment is necessary. With the PointWrite module, images can be projected onto a desk or table for multiple students to share and write on the same screen, creating new opportunities for classroom interactivity for the digital classroom.
- Multi-Touch with Pens or Fingers with Multi-Screen Drawing
- PointWrite offers multi-user capability, and two PointWrite projectors can be used to double the projection surface size. With QWrite Whiteboard Mode, teachers can run different applications or display, view, and annotate across two screens.
- User-Friendly Design and Auto Calibration
- PointWrite is designed to auto-calibrate and save its settings as soon as it's plugged into a computer's USB port. PointWrite then remains ready with no manual configuration or complicated training for teachers. The projector's interactive sensor helps guarantee reliable auto-calibration in nearly any ambient lighting.
- Windows Gesture Support
- PointWrite projectors support Windows gestures such as zooming in and out or scrolling while browsing web pages, pictures, or Google Maps. All multi-touch commands and gestures are supported for Windows 8 and above.
- MHL Support
- With MHL, teachers and students can share content from Android devices on the big screen, conducting the entire lesson from their smart device.
- Dust-Proof Engine
- Severely dusty environments can damage sensitive electronics. To minimize service costs and downtime, the MW864UST features a sealed engine designed to protect the DLP chip and key components of the light path.
- Instant Power-On
- The MW864UST can turn on as soon as an HDMI or VGA source is plugged in, reducing setup time.
- LAN Control Compatibility
- To help IT managers perform day-to-day maintenance effectively, the MW864UST is compatible with Crestron, AMX, PJ-Link, and BenQ MDA for network control via a LAN. BenQ Multiple Display Administrator (MDA) software enables centralized monitoring, control, and power-scheduling across a school's projector network from a single computer, offering full access and control over every projector directly.
- Streamlined Wall Mount Alignment
- For efficient installation, the included wall mount features an installation chart and ruler for simplified screen alignment and image positioning in the classroom. A three-way adjustment knob located in front of the projector helps square off your screen.
- Corner Fit Correction
- Corner Fit provides individual adjustment of each corner to help you achieve a perfect fit and alignment onto restricted or uneven spaces.
- Quick Install Hotkey
- Press the Quick Install hotkey on the remote control to set up the projector. This is designed to save time for managers performing initial projector installation work.
- Optional QCast Wireless Adapter
- The optional QCast wireless adapter fits into a concealed compartment and streams documents, images, and Full HD videos from smart devices and computers to the projector without cables.
- Eco-Friendly Features
-
- SmartEco Mode analyzes input content to determine the brightness required for optimal color and contrast performance, conserving up to 70% of lamp power without compromising image quality.
- Eco Blank Mode automatically activates after three minutes without source content or activity to eliminate distractions and save energy. It can also be manually activated via the remote control.
- Auto Power Off powers down the projector after 15 minutes of inactivity to reduce energy waste and concerns of leaving equipment on.
