Product description Come Closer: BenQ Short-Throw Projectors for Big Images in Small Spaces Read More Enjoy engaging presentations with a minimal risk of shadows with the BenQ MX825ST 3300-Lumen XGA Short-Throw DLP Projector. It features a short 0.61:1 throw ratio, which will allow you to place it very near your screen or other display surface, reducing the likelihood of someone passing in front of it and casting a shadow. Its 3300 lumens of brightness combined with its 12,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 1024 x 768 native resolution will help ensure clear images even in rooms with ambient light.
The MX825ST has S-video, composite video, two VGA, and two HDMI inputs to support a variety of types of source devices. One HDMI input also supports MHL connectivity, which will allow you to mirror your compatible smart device with a suitable cable. Its VGA output lets you daisy-chain multiple projectors or displays together so you can present the same thing in multiple areas, and the analog audio input and output and integrated 10W speaker enable sound to accompany your presentations. As an added convenience, this projector is compatible with BenQ's PointWrite system, which is an optional add-on that provides a number of interactive features. - Anti-Dust Accumulation Sensor Resists Dust Buildup
- Incorporating color wheel sensors with an anti-dust-accumulation feature, the MX825ST helps prolong optimal performance by rejecting dust which, can accumulate on traditional sensors to block the IR signal and cause flickering, abnormal colors, or even shutdown.
- Designed for Unobstructed Instruction
- Offering screen sizes up to 120" at short distances with its 0.61:1 short throw ratio, the MX825ST is designed to eliminate distracting shadows for students and teachers.
- Engineered with High Brightness
- The MX825ST produces 3300 lumens of brightness for enhanced projection performance with crisp images and sharp text, even in moderately well-lit lecture rooms. High brightness helps provide clear content in ambient lighting, allowing lights to be kept on during classes for note taking and interactive collaboration.
- Display Larger Images
- The MX825ST is compatible with a range of resolutions and projected image sizes to meet diverse classroom needs. Featuring enhanced image quality up to 120", the MX825ST is designed to deliver augmented classroom versatility.
- Engineered for Long-Lasting Picture Quality
- With a sealed design that protects the DLP chip from dust-induced image degradation, the MX825ST is engineered to maintain long-lasting picture quality by eliminating color decay.
- High DLP Pixel Fill Factor for Enhanced Imaging
- The MX825ST features a high fill factor, minimizing black borders around each pixel to help eliminate the "screen door effect" commonly observed in some projectors.
- 12,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio for Clear Text
- Suitable for text, numbers, and tables widely used in instruction, the MX825ST creates an enhanced dynamic contrast ratio using the digitally controlled micromirrors on the DMD chip. By completely toggling off reflective micromirrors, the MX825ST can generate deep blacks to facilitate a high contrast ratio for crisp text and graphics.
- Extended Lamp Life Up to 15,000 Hours
- BenQ SmartEco technology is designed to intelligently modulate light output and enhance DLP's energy saving capabilities to increase lamp life without compromising brightness or picture quality. Reducing energy consumption, SmartEco extends lamp life up to 15,000 hours, and Eco Blank mode further increases energy saving capability by dimming lamp power automatically to lower total power by 70% when blanking the projection.
- Sharp Details in Dark Scenes
- SmartEco Technology also adjusts light output based on content, enhancing contrast to produce richer blacks and optimized picture quality, which is especially important for detailed and dynamic dark scenes, such as for astronomy courses.
- LAN Control Compatibility
- The MX825ST is compatible with Creston, AMX, and PJ Link control systems for integration with various third-party components and cost reduction via central maintenance of multiple projectors.
- Centralized Multiple Display Management
- Helping IT managers perform day-to-day maintenance, the BenQ Multiple Display Administrator (MDA) software dashboard enables centralized monitoring, control, and power scheduling across a school's display network from a single computer, offering full access and control over every device directly.
- Screen Size Adjustment
- The MX825ST allows for screen size fine-tuning through its OSD menu to reduce setup time, eliminating the need to physically adjust the projector installation in case the image is not precisely aligned on the desired frame.
- Remote Control Hotkey
- Press the "Quick Install" hotkey on the remote control to set up the projector. This is a time saver for those performing initial projector installation work.
- Interaction on Any Surface with an Optional PointWrite Kit
- PointWrite technology transforms the MX825ST into a collaborative platform that turn nearly any surface into an interactive whiteboard. Integration of the separately available PointWrite kit and QWrite software with the projector helps encourage a collaborative learning environment where students and teachers work together using intuitive templates along with annotation tools.
