Product description The Benro 100 x 100mm Filter Protecting Frame is designed to encase the edges of a separately available, 100 x 100mm, 2mm thick filter for use within a Benro FH100M2HF Master 100mm Filter Holder or a Benro FH100M2BHF Master 100mm Wide-Angle Filter Holder, as well as the filter holders contained in a Benro FH100M2 Master 100mm Filter Holder Kit or a Benro FH100M2B Master 100mm Wide-Angle Filter Holder Kit. By encasing the sides of an installed filter, this filter protecting frame helps to eliminate stray light, which could have unwanted effects on exposure, from coming in-between an installed filter and the filter holder and lens behind it. Additionally, the Benro 100 x 100mm Filter Protecting Frame reinforces an installed filter's rigidity while preventing its sides from having to come into direct contact with a filter holder's slots. This protects those side surfaces and promotes sharp results by helping to ensure that the filter remains flat.
Installation of a compatible filter is accomplished by first moving the Benro 100 x 100mm Filter Protecting Frame's top slide lock into the open position. The edge of the filter protecting frame under the top slide lock can then be pushed open, allowing a 100 x 100mm, 2mm thick filter to be set within the filter protecting frame. The edge of the filter protecting frame under the slide lock can then be released and the top slide lock returned to its closed position, securing the filter.
Any Benro 100 x 100mm Filter Protecting Frame within a Benro Master 100mm Filter Holder or a Benro Master 100mm Wide-Angle Filter Holder can be switched with another Benro 100 x 100mm Filter Protecting Frame or a Benro 100 x 150mm Filter Protecting Frame that contains a different filter needed for other subjects or changing lighting conditions. If used with any one of a Benro Master 100mm Filter Holder's slots or a Benro Master 100mm Wide-Angle Filter Holder's slots, an integrated safety-catch system prevents this 100 x 100mm filter protecting frame from accidentally sliding out of the filter holder. -
