The four-sections open via flip locks to extended the monopod to a maximum height of 69.1", and the three-leg base has a built-in ball that allows you to sway and follow a subject whether you're doing fast-paced photography or capturing video. Each leg on the base has individual leg angles to accommodate uneven terrain, and when you are done, fold the legs up and collapse all the sections to a compact 25.2". Additionally, you can remove the monopod from the base, which converts the base into a working tabletop tripod.
