The tripod's legs splay out to a second lower position of 15.7" for macro or close-up photography. The HD1A pan and tilt head, which includes a quick release plate, is Arca-type compatible and has a load capacity of 11 lb. The head has a back-and-forth tilting range of -35 to +90° and a side-to-side tilting range of -90 to +15°. At the same time, it can rotate a full 360°. For each axis, there is a single bubble available to maintain its level, and reference scales so you can repeat set ups.
