Product description Support up to 22 lb with the FTA28CV1 Travel Angel Series 2 Carbon Fiber Tripod and the V1E Ball Head. This compact tripod features reverse-folding legs that enable the tripod to fold down to 18.7", which combined with its 4 lb weight makes this a suitable tripod for travel. When the 4-section twist-lock legs are fully extended the FTA28CV1 reaches a height of 66.9". One of the legs can be removed and connected to the center column to create a monopod for added versatility.
The legs are made from 9-layer carbon fiber for minimizing weight without sacrificing strength. To add stability, the rapid center column has a ballast hook on the bottom so that you can hang a stabilizing weight such as a heavy bag or case. Rubber feet and stainless-steel spikes let you use the tripod on a variety of surfaces such as grass, ice, or wooden and tile floors. A dust cover and a carrying case with a shoulder strap are included to protect the legs when not in use.
The included V1E ball head has separate pan and ball locks, and an Arca-type clamp with a quick release plate. A 90° notch lets you quickly change your camera to portrait orientation, and an integrated bull's-eye bubble level helps maintain horizontal alignment. The base of the head connects to a tripod or monopod via a 3/8"-16 thread and the included plate provides a 1/4"-20 camera mount.
