Product description The 1-2x15 Urban Patrol Digital Night Vision Camera from Bering Optics is a compact and lightweight digital night vision camera with capability for recording videos to a microSD memory card or your PC via a mini-USB port. The optical system features a 15mm objective, a 14° angle of view, 1x optical zoom, 2x digital zoom, and a minimum focus of 3.3'. Unlike the intensifier tubes, the CMOS sensor is resistant to damage from bright light and you don't have to worry about guarding it from accidental exposure to daylight. The sensor also features a resolution of 640x480 pixels, a 1/5" format, and together with LCD display, provides color images. You can observe the night scene using 320x240 pixel color LCD display, store your data to the included 2GB microSD card or a PC, or use a video output port with a bigger screen or a recording device. While the TV output is in NTSC or PAL format with an option for 60 or 50 Hz frequency, the digital videos are recorded in MPEG-4. If there is not enough of natural infrared illumination at night, you can use a built-in infrared illuminator with seven brightness levels to improve your target's visibility. The housing is water resistant and has a rubberized covering for a comfortable and secure grip. The menu buttons are located on the top and arranged so that they can be conveniently reached with your fingertips. Also included with this night vision device are a mini-USB cable, a TV output cable, a carry case, a neck strap, and a lens tissue. - Sensor and Illumination
