Product description The 2.5x40 Wave2 Gen I Night Vision Monocular from Bering Optics combines a first generation image intensifier and a weather-resistant housing to create a well-equipped electro-optic for recreational use outdoors. Its f/1.2 light gathering ability, 2.5x magnification, and three-foot close focus distance make the Wave2 monocular ready for close-range observations in low light or complete darkness. This night vision device (NVD) is equipped with an integrated infrared illuminator capable of lighting a subject at a distance up to 55 yd. The IR illuminator is controlled by a dedicated button, allowing the illuminator to be activated without taking your eye off the visual scene. The Wave2 monocular also protects the intensifier tube from damage using circuitry that automatically deactivates the NVD upon detecting excessive brightness. The Wave2 has an IPX4-compliant, water-sealed housing that makes the Wave2 NVD ready to perform in light rain, high humidity, and even freezing temperatures.
