Product description Explore your environment using the Bering Optics 348 x 288 Prodigy-X Thermal Monocular. This compact and lightweight device fits on the palm of your hand and uses a VOx microbolometer and a color LCD display to recreate a visible representation of a thermal scenery profile around you. It can be used to search for hot or warm objects, animals, and people through fog, smoke, and light foliage. To emphasize desired detail of the imagery, the camera offers several color palettes and a digital reticle. The infrared optics feature a 19mm f/1.0 germanium lens with a focus fixed from 6.6' to infinity. Using digital zoom, you can get notable close-ups by bumping up the magnificent from 1x to 4x. To save the battery power while you scout the area, the internal hardware and software has a power-saving standby mode and allows you to set up a customized screen auto-off function.
To allow you to take it anywhere, the monocular is outfitted with a water-resistant IP66-rated housing that can withstand 3.3' drops. It is made from durable and lightweight polymer and has a rubberized armor for a comfortable sure grip and for additional impact protection. In addition to handheld operation, this thermal imager can also be mounted on a tripod via its 1/4"-20 socket. - Thermal Sensor & Display
