Product description The 3x50 Avenger Gen II Night Vision Weapon Sight from Bering Optics is a close to mid-range optic for tactical use in low light or complete darkness. This NVD is equipped with a Gen 2+ intensifier tube that is capable of up to 64 lp/mm resolution, delivering more definition and contrast than previous generation image intensifiers. Automatic Brightness Control maintains the image brightness at an optimal level and produces relatively constant image quality in dynamic light conditions. A red-illuminated floating Mil Dot reticle offers enhanced contrast against the green night vision image and assists the shooter with range and holdover estimation. This configuration of the Avenger weapon-mounted optic has 3x magnification and f/1.5 light gathering ability, enabling adequate light transmission for effective targeting under moonlight. For indoor use or when operating under heavy cloud cover, the Avenger's built-in 25mW infrared illuminator is capable of lighting a subject up to 55 yd away. This NVD also has a manual focus objective capable of focusing to within 10 yd and an accessory side rail that supports an additional tactical accessory, such as a long-range IR illuminator or laser aiming device. An IPX4-compliant, water-sealed housing makes the Avenger NVD ready to perform in light rain, high humidity, and even freezing temperatures.
