Product description The 4x50 HiPo Gen II Night Vision Monocular from Bering Optics is a handheld optic useful for close to mid-range observations in low light or complete darkness. This NVD is equipped with a Gen 2+ intensifier tube that delivers more definition and contrast than previous generation tubes. This night vision device (NVD) has a built-in infrared illuminator that is capable of lighting a subject up to 55 yd away. The IR illuminator is controlled by a dedicated button that allows it to be activated without taking your eye off the visual scene. This configuration of the HiPo monocular has 4x magnification and f/1.3 light gathering ability. Additionally, this NVD is capable of focusing to within four feet. The HiPo monocular's image intensifier tube is protected from bright light damage by circuitry that deactivates the NVD when it detects excessive light levels. The housing is equipped with a Weaver rail for mounting additional accessories like a long-range IR illuminator. An IPX4-compliant, water-sealed housing makes the HiPo NVD ready to perform in light rain, high humidity, and even freezing temperatures. - 25mW 850nm infrared illuminator with a 55 yd range of visible illumination
