Product description Raid the night with the Bering Optics BEAST-R 2-8x50 Thermal Weapon Sight. To deliver a thermal profile of your surroundings, this sight combines a high-resolution FLIR 336 x 256 thermal sensor with an 800 x 600 AMOLED SVGA color display. Together with the germanium 50mm, f/1.2 lens system and built-in electronics they deliver crisp and bright color images (at a 30 Hz refresh rate) of things normally invisible to the naked eye using thermal imagery. It also enables you to see through fog, smoke, and light foliage. To emphasize certain image details, you can also enhance the images with white hot, black hot, or colored polarities.
Among its useful features, most notable are internal focusing with a minimum range of 33', 8x maximum magnification, two digital reticles (Mil-Dot and Crosshair), 50mm eye relief, a built-in QR Weaver rail mount, and a video-out port for recording. To follow you anywhere, the sight features a durable waterproof polymer housing, rated IP67. For protecting the objective lens from dirt, it has a built-in flip-up lens cap, and to protect your face from impact it offers a wide rubber eyecup.
