Product description Conduct medium-to-long-range observations using the Bering Optics Border Patrol 3.5-14x50 Thermal Handheld Bi-Ocular. The device's 336 x 256 Tau II VOx microbolometer allows you to see long-range infrared images of game, people, warm/hot objects, or other sources of heat through smoke, fog, or light foliage. Using its AMOLED SVGA 800 x 600 display, you will see color images through its eyepieces. The bi-ocular configuration with an adjustable interpupillary distance and wide-winged rubber eyecups offers comfort and reduces fatigue. The internal digital image processor has two digital reticles (crosshair and Mil-Dot) and a multitude of digital image enhancements to optimize the accuracy of detection, recognition, and identification in various conditions. Other highlights are digital zoom that allows you to up your total magnification up to 14x and NTSC video output for viewing or recording on an external device.
Outfitted with a waterproof (IP67-rated) polymer body and a flip-up lens cap (for protecting the germanium objective lens), this thermal imager can follow you anywhere. It can also be used handheld or be mounted to a tripod. Jane Holland... Settings access and setup Name: Edwin Derks Nuance PaperPort 14 I had a problem with Paperport loading. Through the remote efforts of a Tech was able to get back online, however, "settings" are only listed 1 - 5 with no action listed as was 'visibly' available, (i.e. Scan both sides, Black and White, Color, etc.)
