Product description The Ocelot 1x 2nd Generation Night Vision Monocular from Bering Optics features a 2nd generation night vision intensifier tube with resolution of 57-64 lp/mm, multicoated optics, and a lightweight water and corrosion resistant housing. The optics feature a 26mm f/1.2 lens system with multiple layers of anti-glare coatings, a 40° angular field of view, 0.25 yd minimum focus, a 30mm eye relief and +5 to -5 dioptric adjustment. When compared to a 1st generation, the 2nd generation intensifier tube offers significant improvements in image resolution, brightness and provides softer tones of green. The tube also features automatic brightness control to help you when you are moving through environments with changing lighting conditions and don't have the time to adjust a brightness knob. If you encounter a very bright scene or a sudden flash of bright light that may damage your tube, the bright light cut-off function will automatically turn off your device. On the other hand, if you are observing your target in complete darkness, where there is not enough natural infrared illumination, you can use the integrated infrared illuminator to improve image visibility. Additionally, there are a battery status indicator and an infrared-on indicator. The monocular operates using one CR123 or one AA battery, and has a battery status and an infrared-on indicator.
The housing is lightweight, water and corrosion-resistant. It allows using the monocular as a handheld device, as well as mounting it to a barrel, a helmet, or a head gear. For prolonged observations, you can also mount it on 1/4"-20 tripod. A battery compartment cap, a diopter ring, and a focusing ring are knurled to ensure comfortable slip-free adjustments even when wearing gloves. Also included with the monocular are a carry case, lens cups, a universal helmet or head gear with a mounting arm, and a mounting adapter. - Intensifier Tube and Illuminator
