Product description Chris Hein Bass from Best Service features three basses in various incarnations for a total of six virtual instruments, all available for electric download in one package, sampled in detail and playable with extensive scripting via Kontakt Player. The instruments include a Musicman Stingray electric-bass (both picked and slapped), a LeFay fretless bass, and an upright bass with three different sets of strings: steel for a classic jazz sound, nylon-strings for a "high-fidelity" sound, and gut for the old-school swing sound of the '40s. The script programming in the playback engine allows for sound design that exceeds the possibilities of the real basses with all the nuances of bass playing implemented. The virtual instrument offers 112 MIDI controllable features including repetition-hot keys, keys-vibrato, fall-control, bridge/center playing, pickup micro-blending, expression-samples, pinch-harmonics, automatic-mode, slide-mode, chord-mode, and much more. To complement the samples, the IK Multimedia AmpliTube 3 Custom Shop is included, making amplifier and cabinet emulations available to these natural bass instruments. Notable Features - 12.7GB of natural bass sounds
- Up to 4,089 samples per sound
- Up to forty-two articulations
- Up to eight velocity layers
- 112 MIDI-controllable parameters with total recall
- Pickup micro-blending (upright basses)
- Pinch harmonics (electric basses)
- Automatic, slide, and chord modes
