Available for electronic download, Galaxy X from Best Service is a virtual instrument that uses convolution synthesis, a method whereby a sound source is "melded" with a second source to create a hybrid, or an entirely new sound. The instrument features over 1,400 convolution X-Files that can completely change the over 15GB of source sounds, all especially recorded and tweaked for X. Divided into three instrument categories, Galaxy X delivers a complete production pack.
Sound categories include spheres, impacts, rhythms, tonally playable loops, effects, morphed sounds, sequences, cinematic soundscapes, wild ambiences, drones, effect grooves, reversed sounds, and more.
