Kwaya from Best Service is a choir library offering authentic African voices and chants. The virtual instrument is an ideal choice for producers wanting to use distinctive and expressive African chants and vocals, whether on movie or television soundtracks, documentaries, musical compositions, atmospheric ambient themes, or tribal-dance-tracks.
The Aba Taano choir sampled for this library consists of four male and two female vocalists, recorded separately in the KONTAKT 5 Player format. The software allows for creating individual vocal lines and choirs by arranging syllables in different pitches, as well as voice effects with the typical sound of African vocalists.
Forty different syllables have been recorded for each singer that can be switched in time by using key switches. By using five "True Legato Vowels" the syllables can be combined in a natural way. In addition, there is an extra "mm" articulation typically used in East- and Central-African chants. All syllables can be played as solo voices or within an ensemble, and edited in the phrase arranger. - Five different true African style legatos (a, e, i, o, u)
- Phrase arranger with twenty phrases, eight (fantasy) syllables each
- Forty words can be combined with true legato playing while the corresponding vowel is automatically selected
- 10,000+ 24-bit/44.1 kHz mono samples
- Library size 7GB uncompressed, 4.5GB compressed
- Includes free Kontakt Player (version 5.5 or higher required)
