Product description Well suited for DSLR and mirrorless cameras, or other video or cinema camera with an HDMI or SDI output, the S7II 7" 4K HDMI/3G-SDI Field Monitor from Bestview allows you to monitor SD, HD, and 4K video signals over HDMI and SDI inputs. It features a 1920 x 1200 IPS LCD screen with a contrast ratio of 1100:1 and maximum brightness of 450 cd/m². Monitoring tools such as focus peaking, zebras, 1:1 pixel mapping, and more make it easy to assess your image.
The monitor includes an L-series battery plate for power, and can also be powered using the included D-Tap power cable. Three 1/4"-20 threaded points offer mounting options, such as on an optional articulating arm or to the included cold shoe adapter. In addition, the monitor comes with both a sun shield and sun hood. - The S7II can display UHD and DCI 4K signals on its 10-bit panel. The 1920 x 1200 display can be used to easily check the focus and framing of your high-resolution video.
- It features both HDMI and 3G-SDI pass-through inputs/outputs, allowing you to send the signal downstream without requiring a splitter. The inputs/outputs are straight pass-through, and there is no cross conversion between HDMI and SDI.
- A built-in speaker allows you to hear your audio without using headphones.
- When you need to fine-tune your picture, enable the peaking filter to remove color from the image and add a selectable red, blue, or green outline to any part of the image that's in focus.
- Four programmable function buttons on the front panel let you create shortcuts to the functions you use most often.
- The monitor will display a 4K signal at a 1:1 resolution without any scaling or processing. As the 4K image is a greater resolution than the monitor can display natively, to see the entire image you will need to move it around on the monitor.
- One of several included tools to perfect your picture, the Check Field mode helps you accurately calibrate the monitor by displaying only the selected color onscreen. Choose from red, green, blue, or gray for a grayscale image.
- Image flip is an advanced feature that allows you to adjust the picture if you need to mount your monitor upside down, or if an adapter changes the orientation of the image.
- For quickly assessing your exposure for blown highlights, the zebras are animated black and white stripes through overexposed areas of the image.
- The included sun hood prevents glare on the monitor's screen by blocking out stray light. It's indispensable when shooting outdoors or in other brightly lit environments.
