Product description 500 Series: Guide to Effects Read More The Big Bear Audio MP1 is a low noise, discrete Class-A microphone preamplifier with high-impedance, discrete instrument input for 500 Series racks. It features a Colour slot that lets you interchange a wide variety of DIYRE modular cards (available separately) to impart various types of analog coloring to your sound. The MP1 combines a discrete, electronically balanced mic/line input with a Burr-Brown electronically balanced output op-amp. It provides up to 66 dB of gain with a frequency response of 10 Hz to 80 kHz and can be used as a studio reference amplifier. The unit ships with a Discrete Saturator card designed to add the saturation characteristics of a vintage console to your sound. - Key Features
